    Every Wednesday I look forward to seeing you at my home for a different evening than usual: an experience of good food, sharing and new acquaintances!

    • Dec. 11: tortellini

    We will put our hands to pasta to prepare together a traditional recipe of which you will learn the making and secrets. After the class we will taste the prepared dish and toast with a good wine. It will be a unique opportunity to share an evening and meet new people.

    Marie Luisa and Ilaria were very warm and welcoming towards us. We learnt a lot about local Italian cuisine and had a lot of fun. We enjoyed both making/eating the food and had a memorable evening in their home. Nothing was too much trouble and we would highly recommend them.

    Modena is a city rich in tradition, famous throughout the world for good food and passion for the automotive industry. On its hills, you can see castles, fortresses, towers, and medieval villages, testimonies of its history, in a landscape that satisfies mind and spirit. Luisa spent her childhood in grandmother's kitchen, surrounded by the aromas and flavors of peasant cuisine. Every day she smelled the scent of fresh homemade pasta, tigelle, and crescentine, and it was exactly her grandmother who taught her to 'put your hands in the dough’. Our Cesarina lives closer to the historic center, where she hides a real treasure: the old family vinegar factory, which she loves to show her guests.
