Pumpkin, with its intense orange color, immediately brings to mind the colors of autumn. In fact, this is the time of year when it becomes one of my favorite vegetables, taking me back in time to when I used to watch it being cooked at home on the stove in a terracotta pot.
It's just as my mother taught me. In this cooking class, I'll show you some ways to use it in the kitchen, stewed, baked, as a filling for ravioli, or simply fried. Perhaps with the addition of a good appetizer, a good wine, and some local sweets, we'll spend a few happy hours together.
