"I am a cook and a kitchen historian, I know the artisanal production realities of Como and its mountains. I search for historical dishes from northern Italy and I make them, often adapting them to today. Above all country dishes, where raw materials brought from the city are mixed , in the holiday villas of the city furniture, such as precious spices that only arrived in the city, with meats, vegetables and cheeses produced on the hills. Specialized also in French country cuisine ".

Incredible experience!! Not only did Anna teach us how to make tiramisu and share the secrets to a delicious risotto Milanese, she also educated us on the cultural histories behind these dishes. As a local of the area she also gave us recommendations of locations and restaurants to visit in town to experience the area authentically. Anna welcomed us into her home with an impressively beautiful and delicious aperitivo spread, and the night flew by as we chatted and joked around in her kitchen together!! I can’t wait to make these recipes for my family at our next gathering!

Anna was such a great host! She has hosted people from over 40 different states in the US and had premade an aperitif for us while we chatted as if we were real guests in her home.
