Our cooking is primarily inspired by traditional Italian cuisine, featuring iconic dishes such as pizza, lasagna, meatballs, risotto, polenta, pizzoccheri, and various meat preparations. We also have a passion for desserts, including tiramisu, custard-filled tarts, a variety of cakes, and meringues. While deeply rooted in Lombard cuisine, we love experimenting with new flavor combinations, adding a touch of creativity to our dishes.

Fransesca and Lucca were simply wonderful. Her instructions were clear and helpful. She and Lucca both spoke very good English. They were so kind and sweet. I can’t speak highly enough of them.

This cooking class was EVERYTHING! Francesca and Luca welcomed my husband, daughter, and I like family. The energy was so warm and inviting that my husband got a little too comfortable walking around their house like he’d been there his whole life 😂. We laughed, cooked amazing food, and made such special memories together. If you’re thinking about booking—DO IT!

Luca met us at the hands monument (Monumento le Mani) and drove us to his and Francesca's beautiful home. From the very beginning it felt like we were visiting with friends we'd known for years; friends just working around the kitchen together to create a delicious lunch. They taught us how to make cheese and speck croissants, fettuccine with minced meat sauce, gnocchi in oil and garlic, and Tiramasu. It all turned out wonderfully but just getting to know Francesca and Luca was the best part. Something special about breaking bread together. The best of our day in Como.

Francesca and her husband, Luca, were amazing hosts! We had no idea what to expect but it was everything we could have imagined and more! We arrived to their home via car and were warmly welcomed. First we started with making the pasta dough. As that cooled, we began on our tiramisu. As our tiramisu was being chilled, we started making the pasta. In between, we had an apertivo (local wine and croissant and cheese). We learned how to make tortellini and tagliatelle, and it was delicious. This experience was special because of the intimate setting and how comfortable my husband and I were in a strangers home. By the end of the experience, we were having conversations like we knew Francesca and Luca as friends! We would 100% recommend this experience to anyone wanting to learn more about making pasta, as well as some Italian and local history!

They were very delightful people and spoke English very well. Their home was perfect for our evening making pasta and tiramisu. It was a highlight of our time spent in Lake Como!
