“I love to write, and to read, in fact, books fill my house. I am mindful of the quality of food; I like to cook what I eat; and share the pleasure of the table with other people, friends, and guests. I am involved in the recovery of food surpluses for social solidarity purposes with the Food Bank of Lombardy Onlus in Como, where I live. I try to hand down recipes that are simple, and easy to learn by everyone, and that are connected as much as possible to the tradition of the Larian territory.”

- This experience was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip. Monica’s home is stunning, clean, and so intricately designed we were enamored. She greeted us with the best meats and cheeses we have ever had. She then taught us how to cook homemade pasta, provided us with the best wine we’ve ever had, and spent so much time teaching us about the ingredients and quality of each item. It was such an unforgettable experience and we are so grateful for her kindness and fun she brought to cooking! She even helped walk me through a few types of sauces and oils to try at home. She felt like my own nana, we are so grateful ❤️
- She was great she taught me and my boys how to make the best tiramisu and great pasta shapes and noodles .I can confidently say when I go back to the states this is going to change the way I cook for good and us her great recipes and tips and tricks .
- This was a fun afternoon event, hosted by Monica in her stylish apartment. She was super friendly and taught us how to make the best pasta of our lives. Never again will supermarket pasta be enough for us! Thank you Monica. It was a treat getting to know you this afternoon.

- Es war ein unvergesslich schöner Abend mit und bei Monica. Sie hat uns alles genau erklärt, Tipps gegeben und mit ihrer warmen, herzlichen Art haben wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt.
