My open-plan kitchen is a convivial space in my eclectic home filled with books, art pieces and design. Together, we will cook and I, a lover of small talk, will share some fascinating local stories. From Alessandro Volta, the inventor of the battery, to my father, an exponent of Como Abstractism and textile designer, to my anti-waste efforts with the Food Bank. Our culinary experience is based on simple and healthy dishes, using local ingredients. I prefer the market and local producers to capture the authentic flavors of this magnificent lake and its surroundings. My creations are based on vegetables and cheeses, the key elements of local cuisine, and my anti-waste philosophy is reflected in my choice not to waste food. I am waiting for you!

- Monica was a joy to do the cooking class with, we both had a wonderful time. Extremely kind, helpful, and nurtured us along the way to what was a delicious couple of dishes! The food was wonderful, the company was great, and we'd highly recommend to anyone considering :)

- We had so much fun cooking with Monica! Her home is lovely and Monica was so warm, welcoming, and fun! We made tiramisu, a Parmesan bowl and zucchini appetizer and homemade ravioli. Everything was absolutely delicious! Monica took her time to explain everything to us and made sure that we were preparing everything ourselves , with her guidance. I have already made the appetizer for my family and ordered a pasta machine and ravioli mold for our homemade ravioli. She has inspired us!!! My husband and I both agree that our cooking class with Monica was one of the best evenings of our trip!!!

- This was an amazing experience. We made parmesan baskets with zucchini and herbs, cheese and Swiss chard ravioli, and tiramisu. Monica was so gracious with our family of 6 - both teaching us proper cooking techniques and also teaching us about Como. Highly recommend this experience!
