Join us in our home, a beautiful penthouse with breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps, Lake Como, and Monte Rosa. We'll savor the dishes we prepare together, paired with excellent red or white wine, and conclude with homemade limoncello using organic lemons.
We'll teach you how to work with typical Lombard flours: polenta flour, buckwheat flour, and "fioretto" yellow flour. Together, we'll create a traditional appetizer, a fresh pasta dish, and a dessert..

- We came hungry, but left with more than just full bellies. Simona and Carolina are true gems of Como. We’ve spent a full week here, traveling all over and trying food from restaurants of all kinds, ranging from low to high prices. But this was our first in-home experience with a local. Simona’s knowledge of her country and region is incredibly thorough and engaging. She helped us understand how Como’s culture has shaped the cuisine into what it is today. They are truly wonderful hosts with such big, open hearts, able to turn strangers into family in an instant. A true Italian charm. It’s not a goodbye but rather, arrivederci ❤️

- I would definitely give our experience with Carolina and Simona 10 stars if this app would let me. We had so much fun! Carolina and Simona were so warm and welcomed us into their beautiful hilltop home with open arms. This felt like an evening spent cooking with a favorite aunt and cousin. The three pastas we made were delicious. This was truly one of the best experiences of our entire trip! I highly recommend it!
- This was truly the highlight of our trip. We were exited to learn to cook the thing that Italy is known so well for, we had no idea that our class would be full of learning about the History of these dishes and why they are important, the ingredients and how they come together, and overall just a new experience into the world of all things food. The entire family was polite, hilarious, intentional, uplifting, and extremely courteous. We are excited to come back and learn even more. Thank you Carolina e Simona! Both are passionate about cooking and live in a home with a beautiful view of Lake Como and the Alps, where they love welcoming guests for cooking classes. Carolina, the mother, is a skilled cook, originally from Campania. She learned traditional Italian recipes from her family and developed a deep passion for Lombard regional cuisine. Simona, the daughter, is a young student fluent in English. Her proficiency in foreign languages, combined with her inherited passion for cooking from her mother, makes the experience even more accessible and inclusive for all guests.
