In my kitchen, I use only top-quality ingredients, carefully chosen from local producers, and prepared with attention, using the "star" ingredient—our extra virgin olive oil, produced with passion and dedication.I don’t have a single dish that represents me because every day of the year brings a different specialty, created based on the seasonal availability of ingredients and what’s fresh at the moment. The one ingredient that never misses is love—the love I put into preparing and serving each dish, to offer an authentic and unforgettable experience.

What a timeless moment! Filomena and her family are exceptionally welcoming! Afterwards, we made magnificent ravioli and tagliatelle in a wonderful atmosphere filled with music, humor, and good cheer. The meal with Filomena’s family is a unique experience. I recommend it to anyone passing through.

We had the best time and learned a lot too, a very top highlight of our trip to Italy. Filomena and her family were so welcoming and lovely. We loved learning how to make pasta from Filomena’s family traditions, but even more we loved the connection and lovely meal together. I’m so glad we booked this for our last evening in the area.

We absolutely loved our cooking class with Filomena! During the lesson, we prepared spinach ravioli, fresh tagliatelle, and a delicious tiramisu. It might sound a bit bold, but it was honestly the best food we had during our entire stay in Italy. Filomena and her family were incredibly hospitable. The whole experience far exceeded our expectations of what a cooking lesson would look like – we felt more like family members than just students. Please note that the class doesn't take place in Matera, but in Montescaglioso – a charming small town about 20 km away. It is definitely worth the trip, and I recommend asking Filomena about a pickup if you don't have a car. Highly recommended!

We were quite excited when ringing the bell at Filomenas house, cause this was the first time we attended a dinner experience at someones home. We couldn't have felt more welcome. Filomena and her family was so nice and warm! We learned how to make fresh tagliatelle, just like her mother used to make it. Both she and her daughters were really helpful. And the result accompanied by her own tomato sauce and typical sausages from the region, tasted very good! Filomena had prepared several kinds of antipasti before we came. We also helped cut some lovely local cheeze. All the dishes were really nice. We appreciated this fantastic opportunity to have dinner together with Filomenas lovely family and learn about local traditions! It's fantastic when people open up their homes like that. Our very best recommodations! ❤️

What a beautiful family and experience. I couldn't have hoped for more. They made me feel like family. Yes, good and kind people still exist. And they are found in Filomena's kitchen.
