Monte Spazzavento Organic Farm is located in Avane, in the province of Pisa, surrounded by a landscape rich in history and traditions.Our mission is to restore and preserve historic olive groves growing on centuries-old terraces, characterized by kilometres of ancient dry-stone walls that bear witness to the history of the Maritime Republic of Pisa.Caring for this land requires passion, dedication, and hard manual work. Giacomo Ranieri Barsanti and his family carry on this commitment, also thanks to the valuable help of WWOOF volunteers, with whom they share a love for nature, culture, and local traditions.Alongside our farming activities, we have a great passion for traditional Italian cooking and handmade fresh pasta, an art that celebrates the simplicity of ingredients and their connection to the land.For us, preserving traditions means protecting not only the land but also the flavors and knowledge that tell its story.
