"I love to host and take care of the table, I always try to create a mise en place with some ingredient that recalls the menu or seasonality. I prefer to cook dishes of land, typical of the Tuscan tradition, I do not try too much in desserts... but only not to eat too many!"

- We had a wonderful and delicious 3 hours with Sylvia, one of the highlights of our time in Italy. We learnt so much about pasta and potato which I have been handling and enjoying all my life!! Sylvia is a wonderful teacher and host and we were lucky to share this experience with one other couple.
- Sylvia made us feel right at ease in her home. It was a fun engaging class and the meal was delicious and elegant. I would definitely recommend this class.
- Silvia was a terrific host and teacher. We had a wonderful evening of cooking, learning about her culinary history and having her share her love of the region. The way she explained making the pasta and Bechamel sauce allowed us to easily follow the recipe. She gave us great encouragement during the evening and for future attempts! We are excited to cook for our friends and family and now have confidence in the result.

Each class (I’ve had three) are well organized and thoughtfully planned for the best experience possible. She readily shares her knowledge about Italy, the cuisines, and the area.
