I am Silvia, a Cesarina who lives in the historic center of Lucca.
I invite you to join me for a cooking class in my kitchen to learn about the authentic flavors of Tuscan cuisine. We will prepare three types of pasta dishes together: we will start with tasty potato gnocchi served with meat sauce, or alternatively a meatless sauce for those who are vegetarians, using fresh and high quality ingredients. The second proposal is perhaps the most famous, the unfailing homemade pasta, using only two ingredients: eggs and flour. Finally we will make gnudi, ravioli prepared using only spinach, ricotta and parmesan cheese.

- Our experience with Silvia was wonderful! The side trip to the market was a nice feature. She even let us help with the preparation, and the food was delicious. My only comment, which has nothing to do with Silvia, is that Cesarine should take out the part that says participants will receive a shopping bag and apron. We did not, and someone else might be expecting such.
- Wonderful! Engaging! Informative! Delicious! Personal! I could keep going, but there aren't enough positive words to describe our time with Silvia. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
