What a lovely evening with Rossana as Chef and Alberto her sous Chef. I attended with my 3 girlfriends and we all agreed we had a great time. Rossana is a wonderful chef and her recipes were easy to understand and I loved the hands on instruction. I was surprised how new the pasta was to me. I personally love mortadella and to have it in a ravioli really blew my mind. For dessert we made tiramisu. I've always made it with coffee but Rossana said we could make it with Amaretto. Who knew and was it ever delicious! Rossana and Alberto have spent quite a bit of time in the USA and their english is very good. Unlike my Italian. So I really appreciated everything about them. They really do the slow food movement. They get fresh eggs and garden vegetables and have a grove of olive trees for their very own olive oil. I'm very jealous of their fresh and organic products. I can not recommend this couple more. Please spend part of the day in their lovely city of Lucca before heading to their beautiful home for a wonderful experience. Thank you Rossana and Alberto! It was a memorable experience! Best wishes, Jerri

Our cooking experience today with Rosanna and her sous chef Alberto was amazing. The lasagne we made was out of this world. never thought we could cook so well. I would highly recommend it to anybody visiting Lucca. The experience was so much more than we ever expected. Thank you for welcoming us into your home. It’s a memory we will never forget..

Rossana and Alberto were wonderful hosts and Rossana is a good teacher and cook. She showed us how to make a ravioli and tiramisu. We visited the olive grove and enjoyed their dogs antics. The experience was a highlight of our trip. I would recommend taking the class.

Rossana was an amazing teacher and hostess, as well as her husband who helped tremendously throughout the cooking lesson. They were such a cute, sweet couple, and have a lovely home! Very warm and welcoming personalities, I felt like we were with longtime friends or family members while enjoying our meal and chatting. The cooking lesson was superb, easy to learn, the food came out absolutely delicious, and she already sent us the recipes of everything we made. Rossana also sends recipes periodically to you afterwards and is just a gem of a human. I loved meeting both of them and we had the perfect afternoon over good food and wine. They helped us learn so much about the region, culture, etc. Highly recommend! The experience was so authentic, loved doing this in a small setting in someone’s home. 10/10!!! 5 star service!

We attended a pasta and tiramisu–making class with Rossana along with our 6‑year‑old daughter, and it ended up being one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. Rossana and her husband welcomed us with such genuine warmth that it felt like we were spending the afternoon with friends or family. They were wonderfully patient and engaging with our daughter, making the class fun and accessible for all of us. Rossana was well prepared, the kitchen and prep area were spotless, and the ingredients were high quality, including some organic items. Cooking traditional dishes in a real Italian home—and then enjoying the meal together at a family table—made the experience feel truly authentic and special. If you’re looking for a meaningful, home‑cooked Italian experience, this is an excellent choice. We highly recommend these classes, and especially Rossana.

I prefer simple dishes made with just a few wholesome, seasonal ingredients, often harvested directly from my own vegetable garden and orchard. I love to enhance the authentic flavors of the land using extra virgin olive oil that we produce ourselves. My cooking is rooted in traditional Tuscan cuisine, but I also enjoy experimenting: I create original recipes that I carefully jot down in my personal recipe book, built over time with love and passion.
