Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina
Shared Experience
Your experience
Imagine a charming villa surrounded by olive trees and the scents of fresh herbs, with a shaded garden and an organic vegetable patch that provides seasonal produce every day. More than a cooking class, this is an experience to share: recipes, stories, and laughter in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re a beginner or a passionate home cook, you’ll return home with new skills, authentic Italian recipes, and unforgettable memories. Our menu includes durum wheat pasta with seasonal vegetables, fresh egg tagliatelle with meat ragù (a traditional family recipe, also available in a vegetarian version), ricotta and spinach ravioli, and to finish, the classic tiramisù or a variation of your choice.
What a wonderful experience with Rosa and Alberto, fantastic hosts! We made two types of pasta and tirimasu and had the pleasure of sampling Rosa’s homemade pesto and cannellini dip which were so tasty. Alberto showed us through his olive grove we ate cherry’s and loquats from his trees. We then sat outside to eat. A truly memorable experience, thank you!

Our family had a wonderful time cooking with Rosanna! We felt like part of her family from the minute we walked in her home. We not only learned some amazing authentic Italian recipes but got to tour her family’s olive grove and see where the olive oil we used to cook our meal came from. We highly recommend Rosanna!!

I prefer simple dishes made with just a few wholesome, seasonal ingredients, often harvested directly from my own vegetable garden and orchard. I love to enhance the authentic flavors of the land using extra virgin olive oil that we produce ourselves. My cooking is rooted in traditional Tuscan cuisine, but I also enjoy experimenting: I create original recipes that I carefully jot down in my personal recipe book, built over time with love and passion.
