For every Italian, from north to south, from snow to sea, the aperitivo is sacred! Convivial and cheerful, aperitivo time is also a good excuse to relax with friends over a good glass of prosecco or a cool cocktail. But the most fun thing is to put your imagination to the test in preparing the many tastings to set on a self-respecting aperitif table. On this occasion we will taste together some of the classic appetizers that accompany this event so important to our culture, some of which we will prepare together, clever and impressive recipes that we can show off at the first useful aperitivo!

Aperitif what a passion!

In a historic building in Trastevere in a setting filled with art, books and color, we cook recipes that tell the story of the winter season. The dishes we are pleased to find on our table maybe all washed down with excellent local wine, homemade pasta, fragrant cream puffs accompanied with the cream handed down from our great-grandmother, but we try never to make trivial combinations, playing with the textures and flavors of the different traditions that run through our history, to have fun and entertain our guests!

Cheerful menu among the alleys of Rome

In just three courses I will try to accompany my guests in the heart of Roman cuisine with an appetizer based on small appetizers.A reinterpretation of the famous saltimbocca alla romana.As a first course I tried to play with the ingredients that cannot be missing from a Roman's table:Fresh pasta, guanciale, pecorino romano and pepper.We will sweeten the end of the evening with a classic coffee tiramisu.

A feast in Rome

The intention is for a few hours to be spent in a totally unusual way!It will not be a simple romantic dinner.We will start in front of one of Rome's historic pastry shops with a special tasting.On the way home we will pass through one of the most beautiful spots in Rome:the Aventine Hill.We will see some of the sights that fill a very small street:via di Santa Sabina and fill the heart with romance.My kitchen will be set up as a tiny and romantic restaurant.It will be my care to prepare for you not only a vegetarian Roman menu,but also an atmosphere that will make you forget for a few hours everything;except your love!Aperitif:Eggplant boatsFirst course:Handmade fettuccine alla contadinaSecond course:Stuffed zucchiniSide dish:Grilled vegetablesDessert:Tiramisu

A food experience between Rome and Sicily

A selection of the typical Roman dishes to be tasted in a location close to the centre of Rome with a view up to Villa Borghese and Piazza Venezia. A delicious meal opening with pizza stuffed with mortadella will be followed by tonnarelli all'amatriciana, ending with the ricotta cheese and sour cherries tart. My joy will be to welcome you in my house, eating inside or outside (if the weather is good), chatting about the story of the receipts I will cook for you with love.Looking forward to welcoming you soon!

Three course Roman's menu

Maria Carla was born in Umbria, but has lived in Rome for many years, in the Monteverde Vecchio district, surrounded by greenery and a stone's throw from the center. Our Cesarina in the kitchen rediscovers family recipes, adapting and modifying them according to the rules of kasherut (the different Jewish culinary habits). "The recipes I propose are all very attentive, both to seasonality and to the choice of raw materials; I can certainly say that my cuisine combines tradition and health."The menu I propose can be varied and adapted to every taste and request. A menu made of winking, sophisticated, precisely luxurious recipes. Games of flavors and textures accompany the most demanding palates. Among the recipes on offer, you can try Crostoni with guacamole and egg-poche, Fried Paccheri within baccalà on pumpkin cream, Cappelletti with cheese served on black garlic glaze, Agnolotti di carbonara "on the contrary" with crispy artichoke, Stracotto beef with celeriac puree and sun-dried cherry tomatoes, Baccalà cooked at low temperature with sweet-and-sour red onion and smoked potato quenelles. So many other dishes capable of surprising and delighting. If what you desire is a wonder and mouth watering menu then "Il Lussurioso" is for you!

The lustful

This menu offers you traditional Neapolitan dishes with the opportunity to watch the preparation of some of them. The products, cooking and legends that accompany each dish will be explained. You will be able to taste the famous pasta and potatoes with provola-cheese, genoese meat that cooks at least 3/4 hours, the historic salsiccia e friarielli, eggplant parmigiana, and the whole endless sea of delicacies that Neapolitan cuisine gives us! If the palate is not enough for you and you also want to satisfy your curiosity peeking through the stove this is your menu!
