¡Hola de parte de Antonella!

Antonella vive en el centro de Palermo, junto a su marido y sus seis maravillosos hijos. Le encanta mimar a su familia con su fantástica cocina siciliana, experimentando con nuevos colores y sabores, pero sin dejar de ser fiel a las antiguas tradiciones gastronómicas de la isla. La cocina de nuestra Cesarina refleja su profundo respeto por la rica identidad local, debida en gran parte a las numerosas dominaciones sufridas a lo largo de los siglos. De hecho, la posición geográfica de Sicilia, que la sitúa a medio camino entre el mundo occidental y el oriental, la ha convertido en escenario de la hegemonía griega, romana, árabe y normanda, y le ha forjado una profunda identidad multicultural. ¿Qué mejor lugar, entonces, para saborear el gusto absolutamente mágico de esta tierra, que sentarse a la mesa de Antonella, donde las antiguas tradiciones reviven gracias a las recetas familiares?

Antonella and the family were so kind and generous! The food was amazing and we can’t wait to get home and cook! We learnt a lot about food and Sicily and hope to make it back sometime.

We came for the food and left a friends. What a wonderful time we had with Cesarine Antonella and her family. Together we prepared bruschetta, traditional Sicilian caponata di melenzane, pasta, ragu salsiccia, and Tiramisu. The food was wonderful. The hands on learning was great. But the friendship and fellowship of our hosts will leave us with lifelong memories. Thank you for opening your home, your kitchen, and your hearts.

We spent an amazing evening with Antonella and her family in Palermo! They were all so nice and really included us in their family. We had booked a dessert class and we baked wonderful Sicilian cakes with her help. She also prepared Italian snacks and wine and we had a really lovely time. Would recommend to book a lesson with her anytime!
