¡Hola de parte de Agata!

Siempre me ha apasionado la cocina, desde que iba al colegio. Cuando tuve la oportunidad de dar clases en la Escuela de Hostelería, pasé mucho tiempo en las cocinas con los chicos. En concreto, dirigí un curso teórico-práctico en el que preparamos todos los platos de los pueblos que han dominado Sicilia, desde los antiguos griegos hasta nuestros días. Este viaje culinario fue una experiencia maravillosa que me permitió profundizar en el conocimiento de la historia y la cultura gastronómica de nuestra tierra.

Amazing cooking class in an authentic Italian home. The hosts were so kind and knowledgeable about the food and process of preparation. We immediately felt welcome in their home. The class was the perfect length and ended with a sit down meal to enjoy the food that we created with a bottle of wine. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area. It was also conveniently located close to the port, so it was a walkable distance from the cruise ship.

Prima esperienza "Cesarine" e non potevamo essere piu' fortunati nell'aver conosciuto Agata ed il suo compagno! Siamo stati accolti nel cuore di Palermo e accompagnati nella storia e nei sapori intensi della Sicilia. Ingredienti della terra e del mare, acciughe, melanzane e ricotta sapientemente orchestrati da Agata per creare piatti che hanno fatto da sfondo ad un viaggio alla scoperta della Sicilia difficilmente dimenticabile. Grazie Agata per averci regalato una piacevole camminata tra le vie di Palermo e per averci accolti nella tua vita, anche se per poche ore. Tornerei a Palermo solo per rivivere una serata con Agata e la sua cucina.

My mom and I had the BEST experience with Agata! Her warm and kind demeanor made the cooking experience approachable and fun. We made two pasta dishes (spaghetti and gnocchi from scratch) and tiramisu and the food was so delicious. We were able to learn new things that we'll now take back home with us. Agata was so delightful and welcoming. I recommend her highly!

This evening was way beyond expectstion. Agata is such a lovely person and exceptional host. Not only did we learn how to make Pasta, Gnocchi and Tiramisu, we also learnt a lot about sicilian cuisine and life. We will keep this evening in fond memory.
