Venezia e la sua Laguna sono state inserite dall’Unesco nella lista dei Patrimoni dell’Umanità, città magica dai mille canali, ricca di arte e con una tradizione culinaria semplice ma ricca di storia. 

Qui troviamo la nostra Cesarina, Anna, che si ritiene molto fortunata di abitare in una città unica come Venezia e che proviene da una famiglia dove la cucina è stata sempre una passione. Le piace cucinare per se stessa ma soprattutto per gli altri, la sua cucina rispecchia molto il territorio e la sua casa ha un magnifico terrazzo dove poter accogliere gli ospiti.

I had a bit of trouble finding Anna's home, because Google Maps shows a wrong address. With a few minutes delay from me, Anna welcomed me very warmly and then we immediately started making tiramisu, pizza and foccacia. Anna explained and showed me all the steps very precisely and I was able to do everything myself. In between, we had a small break with delicious bruschetta and prosecco before we started with the pizza dough. The result was a very good pizza, foccacia and tiramisu meal, which we enjoyed on Anna's beautiful terrace. I learned a lot of tricks and I am glad to have done this course and will replicate it at home. Many thanks to Anna !

The experience was great, Anna is an excellent host. We enjoyed a lot and learned new cooking skills and got to share the Italian culture for an evening. We highly recommend it!

Anna was a great host and teacher! The Sausage/Riddicco Pasta, Shrimp Ravioli and creamy Tiramisu, were delicious!

It was a lot of fun! Really good way to spend time in Venice and learn something new. Unique and nice experience. Tiramisu, we made together was the best I have tried so far. And dishes with self made pasta also were very special. Really great that personal preferences were taken into account and everything was explained so that I can repeat and experiment at home :)

My family had a wonderful first night in Venice with Anna. She welcomed us into her home and taught us how to make tiramasu, pizza and focaccia bread. She was very well organized, an amazing cook, and super friendly. Each of us made our own personal pizzas with fresh ingredients and they were delicious. And the tiramisu was superb. Thank you to Anna for making our first night in Venice memorable.

We had a great time making pasta and tiramisu with our Cesarina, Anna! It was very informative and we've gone on to make our own pasta at home - delicious. Anna is very friendly and we learned not only about the pasta but also about life in Venice from a life long resident!

I couldn’t have asked for a better evening! I am coeliac (gluten free) but organised the cooking class as a present for my boyfriend (who is not coeliac). Anna our host set up separate stations so I could make fresh gluten free pasta and my boyfriend could make normal pasta! She bought us fresh seafood from the market and plenty of wine! What a great experience - thanks so much Anna and Cesarine!!

Our host was Anna and she was awesome. Google maps took us to the wrong location, we sent a picture of where we were and she came and found us. She knew so much about the food and she was telling us what vegetables and fish were in season and she shared what her favorite dishes were. We were even able to assist her with making some homemade pasta. Anna made delicious food. She was so passionate about cooking and it showed. She was so friendly we left feeling like we had known her for years. I would highly recommend this experience and request Anna if possible!

Anna is an amazing cook and an amazing teacher! She is delicate and elegant and it reflects in her food. We asked for a vegan class and she said yes, even practicing the day before to make sure her recipes were perfect! She explained each step perfectly and corrected us through the whole process in order that we would be able to repeat it on our own. She was also full of wonderful stories about her family and Venice and she gave us great advice for visiting and eating in the city. I highly recommend Anna as a cook and as a wonderful person!
