You will be guided through the most evocative culinary traditions of the lagoon. “Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved learning how to cook. I learned from my grandmother, who prepared traditional Venetian dishes with infinite wisdom: in fact, my grandparents ran a restaurant for many years, so I have always lived and breathed for making guests feel welcome. I love cooking for my friends and family, and over the years I’ve specialised in Venetian dishes, as they are so varied and full of flavour, a true expression of Venice’s precious and rich history.”Immerse yourself in the captivating atmosphere of the most famous canals in the world, you will have the the opportunity to learn a timeless selection of traditional dishes. Our experience with Barbara was incredible! We made some very tasty ravioli in her beautiful home, where we felt welcomed by both her and her partner. This class was our favorite part of our trip to Venice.

We did a cicchetti making class with Barbara and it was fantastic! We learned so much about the Venetian history of cicchetti and enjoyed a wonderful variety of styles. She does a pasta making class too but I would choose cicchetti again just for the variations.

This was an amazing experience!! The cecchetti was so fresh and delicious and we learned so much! Barbara was warm, welcoming and so informative ! It was an AMAZING experience! We even stopped at the fish market and picked out the sardines scallops and octopus ! Talk about fresh!!:) thank you Barbara!!

Barbara is an amazing cook and instructor. We’ve been in Rome, Florence, and Venice and have not had any food that came close to tasting as wonderful as her tomato sauce and spinach ravioli. It was excellent!! The strawberry and crème dessert was magnificent. We loved finding and selecting the fresh ingredients at the open-air market. Our group enjoyed participating in each step of the process. We highly recommend this experience and Barbara.
