Immerse yourself in Venetian cuisine by participating in an exciting cooking class, where I will teach you how to prepare recipes using the freshest fish purchased at the famous Rialto market. The fish market is the beating heart of the city, and fish recipes are the foundation of Venetian cuisine. During this experience, we will prepare delicious and traditional dishes using high-quality ingredients under my expert guidance as a true Venetian. You will have the opportunity to learn how to cook the famous Venetian fish cicchetti, risotto with the catch of the day, stuffed cuttlefish, polenta with baccalà, and many other typical specialties of Venice.

: Our cooking class with Barbara was the highlight of our time in Venice! It was wonderful! She took us to the market for ingredients, then we stopped for a quick drink before she welcomed us into her home. Her home is lovely! It's a very warm, cozy and inviting space. Barbara gave us a choice in what we cooked. She showed us how to make tortellini by hand. We also made ricotta gnocchi and tiramisu. Then after we prepped all the food, she had set a lovely table and proceeded to serve us a beautiful meal. I would definitely take another class with Barbara again! Highly recommend.
