My name is Mauro, I am 100% Venetian and I am delighted to share with you my love for Venice and my passion for cooking!
In a typical Venetian house we will learn how to cook "con amore" (with love) two pasta dishes and their sauces and I will give you tips and tricks to easily replicate them at home.
I will then teach you how to make the perfect Tiramisù and we will have together a real Aperitivo Italiano with a Spritz!
For our culinary creations, we'll use fresh produce from the famous Rialto Market.
I am also happy to give you some recommendations on how to best spend your vacation in Venice... do not hesitate to ask!
In case of special dietary requirements, it is possible to adapt our menu!

- I am over from Ireland for a few days and wanted to do something a little different, I had a fantastic 3-hour cooking class with Mauro. He welcomed me into his home, which made the experience feel really authentic and personal. We made two types of fresh pasta from scratch and a delicious tiramisu, and Mauro guided everything clearly and at a great pace. Along the way, he shared loads of insight into Italian food, traditions, and techniques, which added so much more to the experience than just following recipes. It was relaxed, well organised, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. I came away with new skills, great recipes, and a much better understanding of Italian cooking. I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for a memorable and hands-on experience. Thank you Mauro ☘️
