My name is Mauro, I am 100% Venetian and I am delighted to share with you my love for Venice and my passion for cooking!
In a typical Venetian house we will learn how to cook "con amore" (with love) two pasta dishes and their sauces and I will give you tips and tricks to easily replicate them at home.
I will then teach you how to make the perfect Tiramisù and we will have together a real Aperitivo Italiano with a Spritz!
For our culinary creations, we'll use fresh produce from the famous Rialto Market.
I am also happy to give you some recommendations on how to best spend your vacation in Venice... do not hesitate to ask!
In case of special dietary requirements, it is possible to adapt our menu!

- Mauro made this experience an absolute highlight of our entire trip. My daughter had wanted to learn how to make tiramisu for years, but I was always too intimidated to try making it myself. Thanks to Mauro, that dream finally came true. He was such a warm, welcoming, and kind host. Even when my daughter had trouble with part of the tiramisu recipe, he was incredibly patient, calmly walking her through each step until she got it right. His encouragement and genuine kindness made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. The fresh pasta was equally fantastic. Mauro happily adjusted the recipe to accommodate our family's dietary restrictions, and the result was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this class. You don't just leave with a wonderful memory of your trip to Venice—you leave with skills you'll use for a lifetime. In fact, we've already made Mauro's tiramisu recipe at home, and we felt like old pros! It's one of the best souvenirs we could have brought back from Italy.
