Passeggeremo tra le caratteristiche botteghe del centro storico – dai vivaci banchi di frutta e verdura, alla macelleria tradizionale e ai negozi di alimentari – scegliendo ingredienti freschissimi come pomodori profumati, fiori di zucca da friggere, guanciale per la carbonara e fragole dolcissime.

Ma il tour non finisce qui! Al termine della passeggiata, ci sposteremo nella casa di una Cesarina per una piccola cooking demo, dove vedrai come si preparano a mano le tagliatelle fresche, secondo la tradizione italiana.

: Our experience with Silvia was wonderful! The side trip to the market was a nice feature. She even let us help with the preparation, and the food was delicious. My only comment, which has nothing to do with Silvia, is that Cesarine should take out the part that says participants will receive a shopping bag and apron. We did not, and someone else might be expecting such.

"Amo ospitare e avere cura della tavola, cerco sempre di creare una mise en place con qualche ingrediente che richiami il menù o la stagionalità. Preferisco cucinare piatti di terra, tipici della tradizione toscana, non mi cimento troppo nei dolci... ma solamente per non mangiarne troppi!"
