Vivi un’esperienza autentica nel cuore della campagna lucchese, in una tipica villa immersa nel verde, con giardino, gazebo e uliveto. Imparerai a cucinare tre grandi classici della cucina italiana: bruschette con pane casareccio, olio extravergine di nostra produzione e verdure di stagione del mio orto; lasagne secondo la ricetta di famiglia, passo passo dalla sfoglia alla besciamella e al ragù (anche in versione vegetariana) e il dolce al cucchiaio più amato, il tiramisù. Ti fornirò tutte le ricette e preziosi trucchi in cucina. Un’esperienza perfetta per chi desidera unire sapori, tradizione e natura in un’atmosfera accogliente e familiare.

We learned to make pasta/meat sauce, several Italian dips and tiramisu in a friendly and homey environment at Rosanna's. It was delicious and the four of us felt extremely welcome. She was very knowledgeable about how not to cross contaminate my gluten free needs and I appreciated the extra work she had to do...thank you, Rosanna. It was a wonderful evening and I would heartily recommend her class to visitors!!!

Last night, I had incredible evening at Rosanna’s house. I arrived a little early as I was unsure about traffic. She said that was no problem and we started early. Her home is beautiful and well equipped for groups of all sizes. All of the cooking ingredients and equipment was ready and well organized. I was amazed at her knowledge and skill level. I asked a lot of questions about the ingredients and how they impacted the flavour profile. She answered all of them in a warm manner. I met her family shared what we had cooked together. We had appetizers, truly amazing lasagna and mouth watering tiramisu. A meal at Rosanna’s house is a hidden treasure. Cesarine are lucky to have her on the team. A cooking class with Rosanna is an absolute must to item in Lucca!

If you have a free half day in Lucca and you love Italian cuisine, I highly recommend taking a cooking class from Rossana. Her class is not only about Italian cooking but also about life in Lucca. The class takes place on her wonderful property amongst olive trees and beautifully manicured plantings. Rosanna is often assisted by her husband Alberto, who is both charming and entertaining. We prepared four dishes during the four hour class, and then sat down to enjoy what we had created. This class was a highlight of our visit to Italy; I highly recommend. The best part, after the class Rosanna provides the recipes in writing for you to enjoy at home. Wonderful experience!

Prediligo piatti semplici, preparati con pochi ingredienti genuini e di stagione, spesso raccolti direttamente dal mio orto e frutteto. Amo valorizzare i sapori autentici della terra, conditi con l’olio extravergine che produciamo in famiglia. La mia è una cucina tipica toscana, ma mi piace anche sperimentare: creo piatti originali che annoto con cura nel mio personale ricettario, nato con il tempo e con tanta passione.
