„An einem Sommerabend komme ich in dem Haus auf dem Land an. Schon auf dem kleinen Platz empfängt mich ein intensiver Duft, der mich beim Betreten des Hauses umhüllt: die frisch gebackene Torte meiner Mutter! So bin ich aufgewachsen, in Umbrien, mit diesen Aromen, diesen Gerüchen... Ich bin aufgewachsen und habe meiner Mutter dabei zugesehen, wie sie mit ihren Händen Teig knetet und Marmeladen zubereitet. Das Kochen ist Teil meiner Geschichte. Als ich nach Rom zog, um die Universität zu besuchen – ich bin Architektin –, schenkte mir meine Mutter ein Notizbuch, um Rezepte aufzuschreiben; inzwischen habe ich zahlreiche Notizbücher. Meine Freundinnen von der Universität schenkten mir mein erstes Kochbuch.“

: Laura and Francesco were beautiful hosts catering to our glutenfree and lactosefree limitations without a hesitation. Laura‘s expert tips and step-by-step support enabled us to finally master the Roman caccio e pepe! We are overjoyed! The fabulous starter, delicious Tiramisu rounded off an amazing evening. It was a privilege to spend time at their home! We totally recommend to anybody!!
: Laura’s cooking class was incredible!! One of the highlights of our trip to Rome. We met at the market and discussed different local foods and how to cook with them. We taste tested delicious pork. Then we went to their place where Laura had special aprons and stations set up for my husband and I to cook. She walked us through carbonara and tiramisu!! We were laughing and joking, just having the best time. Then we enjoyed a quiet romantic meal. I cannot recommend her class enough!

: Traditional dishes revisited with taste. Friendly but discreet welcome. I went to Laura F.'s house for a business lunch; they had told me about the Cesarine service and I wanted to give a colleague of mine from abroad an experience of Italian cooking and family environment. I chose Laura F. for her location as it was a lunch break and she is located near the meeting place with my colleague. I was much more than satisfied; everything was perfect, from the friendly but discreet welcome, which immediately made us feel at home. The dishes cooked properly have hit the mark because while recognizing the typical taste of Italian cuisine, Laura has been able to revisit dishes with a touch of originality that amazed me too (and it takes me since I am often around for work). I recommend to anyone who is in Italy for tourism or work to have the same experience.
