We had a wonderful evening - and would highly recommend Catia. She & her husband were generous with their time, their knowledge and we felt like friends. Thank you.

We had the highlight of our Italy trip at the dinner with Katia & Augusto! We visited their home in Parma and they prepared us an authentic Italian home dinner with ingredients from the Parma region. Katia showed us her pasta and tramisu preparation and we could even help her a bit! All the food was so excellent, accompanied with wine that Augusto produces himself. And even more delightful was a very warm conversation, where they told us a bunch about their roots, culture, and life. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful and relaxing experience. I hope to see them again in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Katia and Augusto Bonati during a fascinating cooking class that quickly became much more than a lesson—it was an educational, warm, and memorable hospitality experience for our entire family, including our child, who discovered a hidden talent and quickly became a little cooking star.
Katia teaches the art of pasta making, which may seem complex at first but becomes surprisingly approachable under her guidance, with truly impressive results. She introduced us to recipes that have been passed down through her family for generations, including erbazzone filled with spinach and ricotta, and tortelli stuffed with a delicious mixture of potatoes, onions, and tomatoes—a flavorful filling reminiscent of a traditional Italian soffritto.
For dessert, we learned how to prepare a simple yet delicious tiramisu. It is no surprise that Katia was the runner-up in the World Tiramisu Championship.
Throughout the class, we were also accompanied by her husband, Augusto, whose roots run deep in the region. He comes from a family with generations of expertise in prosciutto production and brings decades of knowledge and passion to the experience.
What began as a cooking lesson quickly evolved into a genuine hospitality experience, complete with a wonderful meal and countless family stories that offered a glimpse into the traditions and history passed down through generations of both families.
The class is suitable for all ages, including children making fresh pasta for the very first time. We left not only with new cooking skills and recipes but also with unforgettable memories of a truly authentic Italian family experience.
