A lunch or dinner at my home is a journey through the flavors of my family, where every dish tells a story of tradition, authenticity, and heartfelt hospitality.
To start, a mix of delicious appetizers prepared following my grandmother’s recipes. As a first course, Neapolitan lasagna: handmade egg pasta rolled with care, homemade meatballs, summer-preserved tomato sauce, and a generous layer of fresh fiordilatte mozzarella.
Next comes the ragù meat, slow-cooked for over eight hours until it becomes tender, flavorful, and infused with all the warmth of old-style home cooking.
For dessert, cream and sour cherry cake – the same one my family has always made for our Patron Saint’s feast day.
To drink: your choice of a fresh Falanghina from the Campi Flegrei or a full-bodied Aglianico.

The instructions were easy to follow, and we loved hearing the stories and traditions behind each dish. There was something so special about cooking in a real Italian home rather than a commercial kitchen. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was warm, intimate, and full of laughter. It felt less like a class and more like spending an afternoon with friends around the dinner table. If you're looking for an authentic Italian experience, this is a must-do. I would book this again and again without hesitation. Thank you for such a wonderful afternoon and for sharing your home, traditions, and incredible hospitality with us. We will cherish these memories—and these recipes—for years to come!
