    Cooking is tradition and connection to the land, and in this experience I want to introduce you to the flavors of the province of Biella, Alessio is from Biella, with three iconic recipes. The Coggiola-style Paletta, a lightly smoked shoulder ham, with San Carlino cheese. The Macagno and Bramaterra risotto and the paste di meliga (biscuits) with Andorno's Ratafià, an excellent cherry liqueur.

    A tasting of the upper Piedmont that tells of hills planted with vines, mountains of pastures of the Pezzate Rosse of Oropa, and people who legend has it had bears as pets.

    Sara and her husband, Alessio, were excellent hosts and ensured that we had an amazing evening in their home. We made three types of pastas/sauces, and Sara provided a comprehensive list of all the recipes from our delicious dinner. 😊 It was easy to ask questions during the meal preparation, which made us feel even more confident about making the dishes at home. Sara and Alessio not only have a passion for cooking, but they also shared family traditions and knowledge of the Piedmont region that truly enriched our visit to Torino. Great food, drinks, conversation, and new friends. Definitely one of our favorite experiences while in Turin and highly recommended!!

    I recently took a cooking class with Sarah and Alessio in Turin, Italy, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, their warmth and passion for cooking were evident. They welcomed us like old friends, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Their knowledge and enthusiasm for Italian cuisine was great.     Sara was very kind, knowledgeable, funny, and a great food tour guide. I had the pleasure of learning the history of Torino while eating delicious typical foods from the region. My favorite was the carne cruda con sopra ciopolla caramellata e formaggio. Wow! I would highly recommend Sara! I will recommend her to friends and family.

    Tradition is an innovation that has brought us this far. Starting from the local raw materials, I transform them following both the lessons from my mother and grandmother and the techniques learned through studies and travels. For me, cooking is primarily about conviviality, sharing, and exchange... Always accompanied by a good glass of wine! I prefer first courses and baked goods, smoked meats, and recently I have been producing homemade cured meats. My favorite dish... It's the next one I'll have the opportunity to try!
