Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Shared Experience
Your experience

What could be better than getting your hands dirty and learning how to make real homemade gnocco fritto? When you do it together, in an informal and welcoming atmosphere, it becomes much more than a lesson: it becomes an experience. In this cooking school, I want to pass on not just a recipe, but a gesture, a knowledge that is passed on from hand to hand. From kneading the dough to rolling it out, right up to frying it to perfection — when it puffs up and becomes golden, light and ready to be shared. Alongside gnocco fritto, I also teach how to make bussolano, a traditional dessert: simple in its ingredients, but rich in history and aroma. It is the dessert of yesteryear and of recipes handed down without the need for sophisticated scales.

My passion for cooking was born in the family, within the walls of an Emilian home and during long days spent making cappelletti all together—no one was exempt. I grew up surrounded by lasagna, pumpkin tortelli, gnocco fritto, tigelle, and traditional desserts. Although I studied management control, I have always nurtured my love for cooking: I opened a blog, wrote a cookbook, created a De.Co., won awards, organized food and wine events, taught cooking classes (including for children), and managed the kitchen for my association. I never turned it into a career, because life sometimes leads you in different directions. Today, however, I am ready. I know how to teach people to cook good food, I can always find a solution, I have a thousand ideas in my head… and after all, my mother is Emilian.
