I will welcome you to my country home near Spoleto, nestled in the tranquillity of the Umbrian countryside, for an authentic culinary experience filled with genuine flavours, conviviality and a slow pace of life. Surrounded by greenery and the relaxed atmosphere of the countryside, we will begin with an aperitif made with local produce, a first taste of Umbrian culinary traditions.
Together, we will then prepare soft gnocchi using the famous red potato from Colfiorito, a signature ingredient of the region, which we will serve with a seasonal sauce rich in aroma and flavour. During the cooking class, we will share techniques, stories and little secrets of home-style Italian cooking.
To round off the experience on a sweet note, I will prepare a homemade surprise for us to enjoy together.

- It was an incredible experience to enjoy a cooking class led by Claudia with her husband Francesco helping her. We were two couples visiting Spoleto for the first time. We enjoyed the event at her home on a family farm on the outskirts of Spoleto. She was thorough, helpful, enjoyable and we all felt like one big family. She is very conscious of quality ingredients and essentially they were all farm to table. Our class menu included lentils with sausage, making the fresh pasta varietal with an amazing truffle sauce and to top it off, we made Tiramisu. Of course we enjoyed our preparation for lunch - and it was delicious! We could have stayed with Claudia and Francesco till dinner time. It was one of those infrequent memorable days! Thank you Claudia for making it possible. A presto!

- My husband and I did a cooking class with Claudia starting with a walking tour in Spoleto to buy the ingredients- a great approach. Then her husband Francesco picked us up to go to their nearby farm to do the class. They were wonderful hosts, and we felt very welcome in their home. We both enjoyed the class , making pasta and preparing different types of bruschetta, and eating it was even better. It was a great way to finish our stay in Umbria!
