Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Private Experience
Your experience

In this engaging culinary course, you will acquire the skills to prepare the famous piadina. With just a few ingredients, expertly blended, you will bring to life one of the world's most prized delicacies, at least to my taste: the Piada, the quintessential bread of Romagna. This exquisite flatbread goes beautifully with sliced meats, cheeses, gratins and even Nutella. We will also pack delicious cassoni, closed variants of piada that turn out to be authentic goodness! Cassoni can be filled with mozzarella and tomato, mozzarella and cooked ham, potatoes and sausage, or with country herbs. To end on a sweet note, I will guide you in the preparation of a delicious Romagna doughnut, all accompanied by an excellent wine.

What a wonderful experience we had today with Patti. We did the lasagna making experience and we highly recommend it. Patti was so welcoming and very talented. It was a truly memorable experience. When we come to Rimini again, we will definitely book another cooking experience with Patti. ❤️😍🥰👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 thanks so much xx

Very kind and thoughtful host; since we are French, she adapted to our language. It was a fantastic time: I highly recommend the place and will return if possible. Thank you, Patricia.

I spent a super productive and carefree morning with Patrizia making piadine, cassoni, and Romagnola donuts. Time flew by between lessons and chatting; Patrizia gives so much more than just the precious culinary advice for which she is sought after! Thank you for the time dedicated, the hospitality in your splendid home and kitchen, and your willingness to help me in the future.

Our cooking class with Patti learning how to make strozzapreti was one of the most favorite highlights of our trip to Emilia Romagna. Our entire family of four, ages 13-84 loved the class - it was fun, educational, and at the end, one of the most delicious meals we’ve ever had! Patti was an absolute joy, and her family could not have been kinder and more welcoming of the four of us into their home. The setting was beautiful, it was just perfect. A must-do if you’re in the area!

We had an absolutely wonderful cooking class with Patricia! The class took place in her beautiful garden at home, which made the whole experience feel very cozy and welcoming. We truly enjoyed every moment and will definitely never forget this special experience. After the class, Carla, Patricia’s mother, had beautifully set the table for us in the garden. We then enjoyed our delicious homemade strozzapreti together with a lovely Italian wine. A truly wonderful, personal and authentic experience. Highly recommended!

The house of our Cesarina Patrizia is a small jewel a stone's throw from the sea, in fact, it’s surrounded by a garden with many flowers, a fragrant vegetable garden, and, in the distance, seagulls. "My passion for cooking was born when my grandmother made me get on a stool to help her cook, it was so amazing! My cuisine is simple, and strongly linked to the Romagna area”.
