Millions of years ago, the Po Valley did not exist and the Adriatic Sea stretched all the way to Piedmont. Therefore, I present a seafood menu suitable for winter evenings by the fireplace and beautiful sunny days in the garden. As an appetizer, I propose anchovies with green bagnetto, marinated anchovies, seared octopus with potatoes, and warm cannellini beans, combining sea and land ingredients. Fish patties drowned in the sauce add a delicious touch. For the first course, an ever-present spaghetti with a seafood mixture. For the main course, I suggest salmon cooked on a salt plate with vegetables. To end on a sweet note, a fresh fruit Cheesecake and limoncello made strictly by me. This is my seafood menu, a tribute to a very distant past.
Monica warmly welcomed us into her home. The course gave us valuable insights into Italian cuisine. Together with Monica, we made delicious tagliatelle and ravioli as well as sweet chocolate cookies. Monica helped us with a lot of love and patience. Absolutely authentic and highly recommended!
