Hi from Novella!

I was born in Bologna but my roots are here in Tuscany, including in cuisine.From the Lucca cuisine, I love to prepare tordelli with ragù and various soups, from frantoiana to ribollita to pappa al pomodoro, all seasoned with the excellent oil from our hills.The appetizer is always rustic, with excellent unsalted "sciocco" bread bruschetta and Colonnata lard, Igp Sorana beans, black cabbage, and the inevitable chicken livers. To finish sweetly, almond cantucci and grandmother's cream cake.

AMAZING!! This experience was hands down the most fun we’ve had while in Italy! Novella and Marco were incredible hosts and through them we learned a lot about the culture and cooking! Novella’s home was charming and the perfect setting for the experience!! We would absolutely do this again with the same hosts!!

What an amazing experience! Maria and Marco where the nicest people, Marco, the interpreter was able to help us fill the gaps in the language barrier. We did the 3 pasta class, ravioli, gnocchi and meat ragu, it all turned out great. I would recommend this to anyone, no matter their cooking background. Maria was very knowledgeable on the traditional Italian pasta making techniques.

We had a wonderful experience with Novella and her family. She was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us. We made several dishes, including Tiramisu. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was such a great learning experience and I know we will use the recipes in the future. A very worthwhile experience. Many thanks to Novella, her family and to Marco as well. We had a wonderful evening.
