  • Tagliatelle
  • Tortellini
  • Sbrisolona

We changed from the original booking we made using a gift voucher and Cesarine made this very easy for us. We were the only couple on this experience and this was the first one of this particular experience Cri e Stefano did for the Amarone Wine and wine tasting. We had a really enjoyable time in a lovely setting. We had a tour of the vineyard and barrels together with explanation of the different wines. They supplied some fabulous homemade aperetifs together with a couple of glasses of their wine. We then were shown how to make the Amarone Risotto and then had some to eat together with another try of a couple of their wines. It was all very tasty. We then had a biscuit type cake which Grappa was poured on to, once again delicious. The entire experience was 2 1/2 hours, not 3 hours, which was enough time as we were the only couple on it. They kindly ordered us a taxi back to Verona afterwards. The surroundings were lovely and they also ran a kennels and cattery which we ate near, under a beautiful pergola area. We both love dogs so this was not an issue for us. You could see their passion for their wines and they obviously produce exceptionally good wine there. This was the first time we have had this type of experience so have nothing to compare it to. We were made to feel very welcome by them all. We did feel however, that the experience was quite pricey for what is was and maybe this would deter people from going. We were lucky in receiving a voucher.

This experience was so amazing and I dare say life changing. The kindness and patience while not only teaching myself and my son, but my granddaughter elevated this experience even more when I didn’t think it was possible. Teaching us to not only make pastas to enjoy with family, but a few wise life lessons that come hand in hand with it. Food is fun and is intended to be enjoyed. Thank you so much and we will return for more teachings!

Cristiana was a wonderful host for the private tiramisu and pasta making class I attended while in Verona. It was very special to learn from her in her beautiful, warm, and welcoming personal home. I loved walking through the olive trees in her yard to collect eggs from her chicken coop for the pasta. Cristiana was inviting, friendly, patient, and humorous! She made us feel relaxed and confident as we learned to make these classic Italian recipes. She was also very knowledgeable about the history of the recipes and Verona. We especially appreciated Cristiana’s help In summoning a taxi so we could make it to our train following the cooking class — first class service! I have already tried making homemade pasta (stuffed tortellini) since returning home, and Cristiana has been responsive to my messages with follow-up questions. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Christiana was very kind, patient, funny and charming. She made us feel like at home. The meals were delicious and quite simple to remake at home. This experience was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone passing by Verona.

“Christiana is wonderful. She was a charming, funny, and caring host. She made us feel confortable from the moment we arrived. She was very welcoming. The dishes she introduced us to were delicious, simple and full of flavor. I don’t have words to express how enriching this experience was. I would live this moment again and again. A huge thank you.”
