Ich liebe es, einfache Gerichte der venezianischen und toskanischen Tradition zu kochen. Meine Großmutter und meine Mutter haben mir schon als Kind die Liebe zu frischen Zutaten vermittelt und darauf geachtet, dass nur die frischesten Produkte der Saison verwendet werden. Ich koche sehr gerne Vorspeisen, Pasta und Gemüse sind meine Leidenschaft.

- Carlotta was an amazing host and teacher. When our granddaughter was asked what her favourite part of her Italy trip was, she quickly responded, "The cooking class with Carlotta." This speaks to how extraordinary the experience was. The communication to get to Carlotta's house was excellent, and from the first moment we met her in the square, we knew it would be amazing. Carlotta's stories of her grandmother, who taught her how to cook, were so interesting, and her obvious love of and knowledge about cooking made the experience wonderful. It was a magical way to spend a few hours in Venezia. I would highly recommend this to anyone, and, if possible, I would recommend that they seek out Carlotta as a master teacher.
- Our hosts were very pleasant and surprisingly very well organized given they had moved shortly before. The premises where the class and dinner took place are impressive. The four of us are fit and had no problem climbing up a beautiful circular staircase to the fourth floor. Other guests might find the climb challenging. All three dishes we made were delicious. Suggestions for improvement would be to serve simple side dish of vegetables or salad, as pasta then pasta, is a little heavy. Also the wine served was called Prosecco; it was served pre-poured in carafes and did not compare well to the fantastic Proseccos we enjoyed in this area of Italy. We cannot thank our hosts enough for this guidance in finding our way back to a hotel, and to the bus station. Had we have not been so kindly guided, we would likely have gotten lost in Venice in the dark. The hosts provided lots of great information, made us feel very welcome. Hosts speak good English. Thanks.
