Master the art of making Italian dishes, including pasta and tiramisu, at our workshop nestled on the shores of Lake Como. In this hands-on experience, a local chef specializing in Italian cuisine will unveil the recipes and secrets behind these beloved dishes.

Firstly, you'll create Tiramisu using all necessary ingredients and tools. This quintessential Italian dessert is crafted from simple components such as savoiardi (ladyfingers), mascarpone cheese, and eggs. Next, you'll prepare your own pasta dough from flour and eggs. The chef will demonstrate the various types of pasta that can be made using this recipe, and you'll choose your favorite one to shape and cut.

I’m a college student studying abroad in Italy for a month. My friends and I visited Lake Como for the weekend and had the pleasure of experiencing this cooking class with Patrizia and her husband Luca. After being in Italy for two weeks I can confidently say this has been my favorite thing I’ve experienced so far. Luca and Patrizia are kind hearted and created a home away from home for my friends and I for the few hours we spent together. The food you learn to make is delicious, quite possibly the best food I’ve had in Italy thus far, and the view of Lake Como is stunning. I couldn’t possibly recommend a better experience to anyone visiting the area.

I went with two of my friends (we are all 19) and we had the time of our lives. We loved Patrizia and her husband Luca. They made us feel at home. We learned how to make two pasta dishes and tiramisu. Everything was fantastic and we would definitely do it again! If you want to feel at home I would definitely recommend this class!

We enjoyed an amazing time at the home of Patrizia and Luca! We were welcomed so warmly and treated to wine and treats upon arrival. Then the "lesson" began! Patrizia demonstrated techniques, but then it was up to us to create the dishes - a very hands-on experience. And the outcome was delicious! We sat down to a delicious meal together and enjoyed chatting and laughing throughout the evening. Patrizia and Luca are superb hosts. We highly recommend this activity as it was the highlight of our visit to the Lake Como area!

"My life is tied to the lake, this is where I have my roots and where I’m fine. I am a painter, my work allows me to manage time and the kitchen is for me my second workshop, where I can easily create dishes instead of paintings. My two children, now grown up and my husband were those who made me practice and love cooking. Hosting friends during the summer in the garden was an opportunity to understand that receiving guests is a pleasure and a personal enrichment. The ingredients of my recipes are all genuine, from local producers:  honey, cheese, fish, directly from the fisherman in Dervio, and vegetables from my garden that my husband cares with passion for many years. Our house is a bit like the houses of the past, the fireplace and the stove allow us to warm up and cook with wood, and I must say that the result of the dishes cooked on the wood stove is very good. Also in the garden we have a kitchen and, in summer, we prepare, cook and always eat outdoors."
