    My name is Patrizia and my passion is cooking. I love sharing my recipes and hosting people in my wonderful home. I use fresh ingredients from my garden to prepare my dishes. I look forward to welcoming you to my cozy home and teaching you how to make spinach tagliatelle, called "tagliatelle paglia e fieno" here in Italy. This pasta is delicious when accompanied by a fresh sauce made with cherry tomatoes and basil, enriched with a touch of Parmesan cheese. Afterwards, we will share the preparation of a delicious dessert and enjoy together all that we cooked in the garden. I look forward to meeting you and sharing this culinary experience with you.

    Lovely morning spent with Patrizia learning new Italian cooking techniques

    I can’t rave enough about the cooking experience my daughter, niece and I had with Patrizia! What a friendly host she was and made us feel so comfortable in her cozy and beautiful family home! So fun to have a hands on cooking experience and eating the yummy meal after it was prepared and good conversation around the table. Not only did she make it special for us Patrizia texted us the recipes and sent my daughter recommendations of things to do and see when we visit Milan this week. Hands down I would highly suggest this to be part of anyone’s plan when they come to Lake Como. My favorite so far and I will never forget this special time with a new friend Patrizia! Thank you so much!

    This was an absolutely amazing evening. Patrizia was incredibly friendly and was a fantastic teacher. We arrived a few minutes early and she was so proud to show us her garden where the fresh ingredients used in the class came from. The view from the patio was beyond compare. The class was so fun and we learned so much. We truly can’t wait to make the tiramisu and fresh pasta at home. Patrizia was such a gracious host. She explained the home was her family home and her parents and cousins lived in other apartments. The time flew by and this was one of our favorite experiences on our trip. We would highly recommend this cooking class, especially with Patrizia as the host.

    We had such a special evening. We enjoyed every little bit. Patrizia and Luca made us feel so welcome and at home right away. It was so special to learn about their knowledge, skills and experiences with Italian and local cuisine. Their beautiful home and stunning view was really the cherry on the (orange)pie.     "My life is tied to the lake, this is where I have my roots and where I’m fine. I am a painter, my work allows me to manage time and the kitchen is for me my second workshop, where I can easily create dishes instead of paintings. My two children, now grown up and my husband were those who made me practice and love cooking. Hosting friends during the summer in the garden was an opportunity to understand that receiving guests is a pleasure and a personal enrichment. The ingredients of my recipes are all genuine, from local producers:  honey, cheese, fish, directly from the fisherman in Dervio, and vegetables from my garden that my husband cares with passion for many years. Our house is a bit like the houses of the past, the fireplace and the stove allow us to warm up and cook with wood, and I must say that the result of the dishes cooked on the wood stove is very good. Also in the garden we have a kitchen and, in summer, we prepare, cook and always eat outdoors."
