Follow your Cesarina in a local market tour and challenge yourself with a hands-on cooking class
- Local cold cuts and cheeses
- Tajarin butter and sage
- Tiramisù
Join me in my cozy kitchen in Turin for a fun and informative food tour and cooking class.
We'll start at the bustling Piazza della Repubblica market, where we'll explore the stalls and sample some of the local cheeses, meats, and chocolates. Then we'll head back to my kitchen to prepare a traditional antipasto, handmade tajarin with butter sauce, and a delicious tiramisu dessert. Throughout the class, I'll share my family's recipes and techniques for making the perfect pasta dough, shaping and filling the tajarin, and layering the tiramisu. We'll use only the freshest, high-quality ingredients, many of which we'll pick up at the market. Whether you're an experienced cook or just starting out, this tour and cooking class is a great way to learn about Turin's food culture and traditions!

- Everything about our cooking class with Benedetta was exceptional! The food was amazing, she went above and beyond being a chef and host for us. Best tiramisu I’ve ever had and can now make on my own! Will forever remember this experience and definitely recommend to anyone!!! Our teenage daughters loved it! And we came during a heat wave and were so thankful she had air conditioning.
- Benedetta is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about food, and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. It was my first time making fresh pasta, and thanks to Benedetta’s clear instructions, we made delicious ricotta ravioli, tagliatelle, plin, tiramisù, and bagnetto verde. It was such a happy, relaxing afternoon, and the best part was sitting down together to enjoy the fresh homemade meal we had prepared. It felt like sharing lunch with family. It was also such a joy to meet Benedetta’s adorable mamma, who made the experience even more special. I highly recommend Benedetta to anyone looking for a true Italian cooking class full of passion, tradition, warmth, and amazing food. I would do it again in a heartbeat!
- We had a wonderful cooking experience with Benedetta at her house. She teached us how to make filled eggs, Ravioli and Tiramisu. I have written down the recipes and will definitely make it at home. It was very nice to sit at her dinner tabel to eat our own house made Italian food together with Benedetta, her mother Grande Mama and daughter. We highly recommend her cooking class.
- We were received very warmly and hospitably by the hostess and Nonna. A relaxed afternoon followed in which the steps of making fresh ravioli were explained. The afternoon flew by. Many thanks, Bernadette and Nonna.
- We had an exceptional evening at Benedetta's! A warm, family-like, and yet very professional welcome. I had never had such an experience. I have celiac disease, so gluten is strictly forbidden for me, and Benedetta (notified in advance) adapted the menu to be compatible with this constraint, while providing a delicious and local meal for our small group of five. The sharing was joyful, simple, and respectful. Her mother and daughter participated in the preparations and the meal, and we loved the atmosphere of this delicious dinner with rich interactions. A huge thank you!!!
