In the city of Messina it is a must to taste a typical fresh and summer sweet meal, famous all over the world.
We are talking about the Messina granita, which comes in different flavors, (coffee, strawberry, lemon, peach, pistachio, etc.) often served with whipped cream and accompanied by a leavened pastry called brioche con il "tuppo." All this makes for a unique taste experience! If you are my guest and decide to experience this tasting, I am sure you will not regret it.
We will prepare together the typical Messina granita with brioche and I will reveal the original recipe so you can make it at home with your loved ones.

- Rossella and her husband were incredible hosts- they picked us up from our cruise terminal , graciously welcomed us into their home, and cooked us a delicious authentic Sicilian meal. We enjoyed our conversational time with them, and had a unique glimpse into their lives. We feel blessed to have met them and lucky to have had this experience .
- We had a fabulous time learning to make pasta noodles and tiramisu with Rossella. She is a gracious hostess and a patient teacher. The tiramisu was the best we had ever had. We are thankful we scheduled this class when in port.

- This was a really lovely and intimate tour - it was just my wife and I in the tour group and we had an excellent experience. We got to participate in cooking a meal from a local market to a family table, which was a unique experience. We really enjoyed this and would totally recommend it for anyone looking for something a little different in this area!
