    A food and wine tour for lovers of authenticity and local tradition.

    Overlooking the Adige River, a stone's throw from the Arena, in an architecturally valuable building, is Verona's covered market. The market is dedicated to the sale of local and seasonal products, from meat to wine, from extra virgin olive oil to fruit and vegetables to delicatessen products. Walking among the various stalls we will discover Verona's traditions and grandmothers' recipes, and enjoy a sensory experience through tastings guided by local producers. Finally, we will buy the seasonal specialties proposed and prepared by the producers, to enjoy them comfortably seated in the dedicated spaces, indoors or in the courtyard overlooking the river. The market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

    Best experience ever!! Michela could not have been more amazing and kind. She made the experience so enjoyable and personal by having us for extra time then we were supposed to have. Food was delicious and I would recommend booking this experience with Michela to anybody :)

    This experience was above and beyond what we were expecting! The host was in no rush and gave us way more time than we were expecting. We greatly enjoyed talking to her and she explained every part of the process so well as well as providing us recipes for everything we made. The host was the most welcoming person I have met during three months in Italy and the food was also the best I have had. This was the best experience ever!!

    Such a heart warming, once in a lifetime experience Michela gave to our family, She welcomed us into her beautiful home with wine and local cheeses and homemade brushcetta. She showed us pasta making magic! It was so much fun, we enjoyed learning from a true local, professional chef. She taught us via hands on the meticulous technique of colored pasta, roasted tomatoes, sauce, as well as a wonderful a dessert. Not only did we learn, we enjoyed eating the fabulous dinner we cooked including Michela's "family cake!" AND we made a friend that we will remain in contact with.

    Michela is from Verona, she has always lived in Verona, a city of art and love. Her apartment is a few steps from Piazza Brà, in the city center. The hills with its vineyards, Lake Garda with centuries-old olive trees and the Lessini mountains surround the monuments of a city with magical views. Her passion for cooking is a family legacy. Grandmother Laura and mother Bibi involved grandchildren and children in the preparation of long and short fresh pasta, lasagna, tortellini and tortelli, meat main courses with side dishes and desserts. "In the kitchen I try to convey the value of simplicity, but at the same time I am always ready to experiment with new dishes, mainly using the typical products of the Verona area."
