We had a lovely cooking experience with Pierangela. It was a well organized with still being fun and educational. The tiramisu was delicious and very doable when we return home. The two pasta dishes were great as well. Pierangela added a delicious spaghetti sauce to our pasta creations and it was all simple and a very authentic Puglia recipe. We would definitely recommend this cooking experience.

We had the absolute pleasure of joining a cooking class hosted by Pierreangela in her warm and welcoming home, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we stepped into her cozy kitchen and lounge, we felt like we were stepping into the heart of Italian family life. Piereangela guided us through the preparation of a delicious, traditional menu: orecchiette with a sausage and tomato sauce, bruschetta topped with creamy burrata and tomatoes, and for dessert, the wonderfully indulgent sporcamusi. Her teaching style was friendly and informative, and she made the entire experience approachable, fun, and deeply engaging. What made the experience even more special was the way Piereangela shared stories and insights about daily life in Puglia. As a local, she has a deep knowledge of the region—not just its food, but also its history and culture. She offered helpful travel tips and a unique historical perspective that enriched our understanding of the area and made our time in Puglia even more meaningful. This wasn’t just a cooking class—it was an immersion into Italian life and tradition. We left not only with new cooking skills and a full stomach but also with a sense of connection to the region and its people. We can highly recommend a cooking class with Piereangela to anyone visiting Puglia. It’s a genuine, heartfelt experience that you won’t forget.

Had the most incredible experience at the Focaccia Masterclass in Lecce with Pierangela. She and her family were so warm and welcoming, making us the most delicious aperitivo while our homemade focaccia baked. Such a special and authentic experience - 10/10 recommend! Vegan friendly too!

Hello, my name is Pierangela, and cooking for others is one of the things that brings me the most joy. Since I was a child, I've wanted to experiment with the traditional recipes of my hometown. I was born in Gravina in Puglia, a town on the border between Puglia and Basilicata, boasting an incredibly rich culinary tradition. It's precisely this richness that drives me to cook: so many recipes, so many flavors, unique and unmistakable, exclusively ours. Panzerotti, focaccia barese, Pan cotto alla gravinese, U' ruccl (typical San Giuseppe focaccia), sweet ricotta calzones with pork ragu, orecchiette al tegamino, cavatelli, baked finocchietti, cartellate, and much more—these are the typical flavors of my homeland. For the past 12 years, I have been living in Lecce, in the wonderful and spectacular Salento, and from the beginning, I started to savor and create dishes typical of the Salento tradition, including the famous Pezzetti di cavallo, Ciceri e tria, Pittule, Pizzo, Frise, and the unmissable pasticciotto.
