In a home at the foot of the Orobian Pre-Alps, kissed by light and enveloped in greenery, I prepare recipes that tell the culinary story of Bergamo. These are classic dishes that always give pleasure when they appear on the table, but I strive to avoid obvious pairings. I experiment with textures and flavors from different traditions that enrich my cookbooks, all to create a unique and engaging culinary experience for me and my guests!

Here are some of my creations:

  • Parmesan Sablèe
  • Roasted cauliflower
  • Potato gnocchi with radicchio and hazelnuts
  • Pear tart with the enveloping scent of tonka beans and orange

The class was amazing and Laura was fantastic. No complaints about the class. The only reason I gave 3 stars is that booking showed us a meet point 10 min walk from our hotel and then when private address released it was a 20 min taxi ride which cost us €80 extra as getting there was not easy. Pick up point should be within a few minutes walk of actual class. I tried to reach out several times to the booking company and unfortunately did not get any response. This was very disappointing.

Was really happy with the experience. We had such a lovely time at Laura's home. She was really helpful and explained everything well. Her English was reasonable but she had a friend with her to help translate and make sure everyone was understanding. I really loved my experience and would do it again next time. Just be aware that she is in a different province of Bergamo from upper Bergamo city alta so we were €100 for taxi there and back. Was still worth it though just wish I'd realised before I went on it.

My name is Laura and I have always loved cooking and taking the time to do it. I inherited the passion for cooking from my mother, and then deepened it at the courses at the Alta Scuola di Cucina Cordon Bleu, Da Vittorio pastry making and natural cooking with the biologist Dr. Giuliana Gargano at the IRCCS foundation. I love gathering my family around a table set with my recipes that I make with love and passion. I enjoy shopping at seasonal markets, traveling and trying local cuisine, and taking inspiration from what stimulates my creativity.
