Antonella vit dans le centre de Palerme avec son mari et leurs six magnifiques enfants. Elle aime choyer sa famille avec sa fantastique cuisine sicilienne, en expérimentant de nouvelles couleurs et saveurs, tout en restant fidèle aux anciennes traditions gastronomiques de l'île. La cuisine de notre Cesarina reflète son profond respect pour la riche identité locale, due en grande partie aux nombreuses dominations subies au fil des siècles. En effet, la position géographique de la Sicile, à mi-chemin entre le monde occidental et oriental, l'a vue subir l'hégémonie grecque, romaine, arabe et normande, ce qui lui a forgé une identité multiculturelle profonde. Quel meilleur endroit, alors, pour savourer le goût absolument magique de cette terre, que de s'asseoir à la table d'Antonella, où les anciennes traditions revivent grâce aux recettes familiales ?!

Antonella and the family were so kind and generous! The food was amazing and we can’t wait to get home and cook! We learnt a lot about food and Sicily and hope to make it back sometime.

We came for the food and left a friends. What a wonderful time we had with Cesarine Antonella and her family. Together we prepared bruschetta, traditional Sicilian caponata di melenzane, pasta, ragu salsiccia, and Tiramisu. The food was wonderful. The hands on learning was great. But the friendship and fellowship of our hosts will leave us with lifelong memories. Thank you for opening your home, your kitchen, and your hearts.

We spent an amazing evening with Antonella and her family in Palermo! They were all so nice and really included us in their family. We had booked a dessert class and we baked wonderful Sicilian cakes with her help. She also prepared Italian snacks and wine and we had a really lovely time. Would recommend to book a lesson with her anytime!
