In occasione di questo corso di cucina, apro le porte della mia casa a San Giorgio a Cremano, nel cuore della Campania.
Durante questo corso di cucina, vi guiderò passo dopo passo nella preparazione di piatti della tradizione, così che possiate portare a casa un pezzetto di cultura campana da riproporre nella vostra cucina. Inizieremo con un aperitivo di benvenuto, ispirato alle “ordure” settecentesche tratte dal celebre libro il Cavalcanti. Serviremo formaggio, salame e il nostro pane al pecorino, dalla tradizione della nostra famiglia. A seguire, entreremo nel vivo con una lezione pratica di cucina in cui prepareremo insieme: gli scialatielli napoletani, il sugo tradizionale per accompagnarli e il celebre migliaccio napoletano. Concluderemo l'esperienza degustando quanto preparato.

- My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful experience in Raffaella's home. We made pasta, sauce, and a dessert cake, all in the Neopolitan style. We toured her wonderful home, which she and her husband were proud to share. The frescos on the walls dated back to the 1600s AD! Despite her translator being sick and unable to attend, we got by with her limited English, our limited Italian and Google Translate! We share many laughs and had the most memorable experience. Would strongly recommend this booking. Also we enjoyed leaving the Napoli downtown area to visit another area. Was fortunate to be able to walk the streets near her home after the class!

Raffaella and her husband, Enzo, were extremely welcoming and friendly and did everything to ensure my experience was memorable. Their home was incredible and I could tell Rafaella truly cared about the experience she offered and in accommodating a clueless American tourist like myself. Thank you Raffaella, I had an amazing time! Truly one of the most memorable parts of my trip to Napoli!

We learned how to make two different kinds of pasta and a Neapolitan Easter cake. Raffaella, her husband, and the translator were all very kind and hospitable. This experience was the highlight of our whole trip!

- Raffaella and her husband Enzo were so much fun! The lesson was in their apartment in an old restored mansion. We laughed and had the best time. They speak a little English but we mostly communicated with google translate.
