Vi piacerebbe imparare a fare la vera mozzarella, proprio come le nostre nonne e i nostri nonni facevano una volta?

Vi aprirò le porte della mia cucina per svelarvi i segreti di quest'antica arte. Inizieremo con la teoria, per capire i processi, e poi ci dedicheremo alla pratica, realizzando insieme delle piccole caciottine e trasformando la cagliata in vera mozzarella fresca. Questo capolavoro sarà l'ingrediente principe di un menù speciale che prepareremo insieme: un antipasto di bruschetta con la mozzarella appena fatta, un primo piatto di gnocchi alla sorrentina, dove la nostra mozzarella sarà l'ingrediente d'onore, e un dolce della tradizione per finire in bellezza. Sarà un'esperienza unica, un viaggio nei sapori e nella storia della mia famiglia.

Maria Francesca gave us an amazing experience on learning to make gnocchi, ravioli and tiramisu. She explained things well to us and walked us through each step. Maria Francesca's bubbly personality helped make the class a fun experience and a gracious host. Her offering to come pick us up at our hotel to take us to her house was an added bonus, especially since her house is a bit remote from where we were and hard to find. Since there were six of us she enlisted a family member to help transport us all to and from her home. We definitely tested her skills as we were the largest group she has ever had. It was a learning experience for her to have a group that large. Time management was the largest challenge because of that. My recommendation would be for her to have a handout with the recipes for the gnocchi, ravioli and tiramisu. And this is the reason I only gave 4 stars. If I could give an extra 1/2 star I would because Maria worked with us after the fact to get us recipes via messaging app. We would definitely recommend Maria Francesca to anyone to do a pasta class with. And if we ever go back to that region we would definitely try and book her again with her teaching us how to make some different pastas.

This is by far one of my favorite things we did on our trip to Italy! It was lovely getting to meet a local cook and see her home and talk to her. We were with Maria Francesca and she was so kind and fun! She even picked us up and dropped us off which was a huge help! She also boxed up the leftovers for us. Maria Francesca answered all of our questions and made great conversation all while keeping careful watch of the food and preparations. I am a horrible cook but under her instruction we had the best dinner we've had so far! I would absolutely do this again with Maria!

"La passione per la cucina è nata quando, tornata in Italia, mio nonno mi ha lasciato un giardino sulle colline di Sorrento che ho iniziato a coltivare insieme a mio fratello. Iil fatto di avere delle materie prime così fresche, mi ha spinto ad approfondire come cucinarle. La mia terra offre prodotti genuini che coltivo nel mio orto e, grazie ai limoni del mio agrumeto, realizzo una deliziosa caprese al limone. Amo ricevere ospiti, l’ospitalità e innata in me."
