Ciao da Margherita!

Fin da piccola, ho sempre adorato cucinare, trascorrendo ore nelle cucine delle mie nonne e imparando i loro segreti. Questa passione è diventata più di un hobby: è il mio modo di condividere amore e creare momenti speciali. Anche durante l'università, invitavo amici per cene abbondanti e serate indimenticabili. Il mio stile di cucina è un mix delle influenze delle mie due nonne: sapori del Sud Italia e tradizioni milanesi, combinati con gusti scoperti viaggiando e vivendo all'estero. Il risultato è uno stile "alla Nonna" – porzioni generose e confortanti, con un tocco moderno e salutare. Metto amore in ogni piatto, unendo tradizione e innovazione per creare pasti che fanno sentire a casa e offrono qualcosa di nuovo. Cucinare per me è unire le persone, creare ricordi preziosi e celebrare la bellezza dei sapori incontrati lungo il mio viaggio.

My friend and I had wanted to learn to make authentic northern Italian dishes on our first trip to Italy. Margherita was a fantastic instructor. Patient, kind, friendly, and so very knowledgeable, she coaxed nearly perfect ravioli and risotto from our efforts. Her delightful stories of her nonna from whom she learned her skill in the kitchen made for a memorable and delicious evening! We hope to be able to recreate the experience at home with our friends.

Our cooking class with Margueritha was truly one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we stepped into her beautiful home, we felt so welcomed and cared for. She taught us how to make traditional Italian dishes - including ravioli, meatballs, and the most delicious tiramisu - with so much passion and patience. Beyond the cooking, the entire experience felt like spending an evening with a friend. After preparing everything, we sat down together to enjoy the meal and had the most wonderful conversation. Her boyfriend, Matteo, also joined us and made the evening even more special with his kindness and humor. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this authentic and heartwarming experience!

My group and I were Margherita’s first group of 8, and it was so much fun! She made sure we each had turns cooking pasta and making desert! We had such a great time with each other and getting to know her as well! In addition to that, the food was INCREDIBLE!!! I would definitely recommend this class to anyone wanting to take a cooking class in Como!

My wife and I took Margherita’s cooking class on our honeymoon and it was amazing. She taught us how to make ravioli from scratch and we can’t wait to try what we learned back home. Not only was the pasta amazing but the apple cake we made for desert was exceptional! I would highly recommend learning how to make pasta with Margherita if you are visiting the Como area.

We spent an amazing morning trying new cheeses, making fresh pasta, quiche, tiramisu, and drinking a little vino. Margherita is very patient, organized and a clear communicator. She offered suggestions for our remaining time in Como and for our future travels. She is a positive delight to be around. Would happily cook with her supervision again.
