My name is Ileana and I am a private chef and pasta maker from New York City living in Florence and I invite you to taste the local food and culture. We will meet in Sant'Ambrogio, a neighborhood in the center of Florence, which will give you a taste of the local lifestyle and culture. Not only is it a hub of Florentine life, but it is also a central point for foodies. I will take you to the market, show you the most amazing, vibrant seasonal produce, and introduce you to my friends at the market. We will select fresh seasonal ingredients and then go to my home where together we will prepare a seasonal appetizer, our handmade pasta + seasonal sauce and tiramisu. This will be followed by a tasting of artisanal Tuscan cured meats and cheeses in addition to the dishes we will make.
