The Sant'Ambrogio market is the oldest food market in Florence and the one where locals continue to shop.
It is an authentic and interesting market where King Charles spent an entire morning when he was still a prince. Filled with local vegetables, meat and fish, it is a great place to start our class by buying some fresh ingredients and exploring the most interesting stalls.
After the market, we will walk to my house and start our cooking class. We will prepare, depending on the season, fried flowers or a bruschetta with seasonal ingredients, homemade ravioli and a dessert.

- We had a lovely time today learning how to make risotto, turkey rolls with a creamy cheese sauce and tiramisu. Our class included myself and my three teenage daughters. Carlo did an amazing job, everything was well thought out, prepped and he was mindful of individual needs and ages. I would completely recommend him the next time your small group visits Florence.
