Your experience
- Tagliatelle
- Lemon ravioli
- Tiramisù
I love inviting guests into my world, immersed in the rich culinary traditions of my beloved city. What brings me immense joy is to return to our roots, to the old Renaissance Florence and take a journey into the past. During this experience, we create together dishes that encapsulate the essence of Italian cuisine. We start with an aperitivo, then the subtle taste of lemon-infused ravioli, paired with the softness of handmade tagliatelle, ending with a classic tiramisu. Being a Cesarina doesn't just mean teaching the art of cooking but also sharing a part of our history. It's about bringing people together around good food, heartfelt laughter, and stories of old Florence. Let's knead, roll out, and savor the flavors of tradition together!

- Francesca was absolutely amazing such a phenomenal experience being invited in her home to learn to cook. We highly recommend!
- I can't imagine a pasta making experience better than the one we had with Francesca this December. My wife and I had booked a class, which ended up being a private lesson (hooray for the slow season!) We met in her beautiful apartment, which wasn’t far from the Florence city centre. She had cutting boards, flour and eggs already laid out for us when we arrived; and we jumped right in to making a homemade tomato sauce, followed by Tiramasu. While the Tiramasu was cooling we moved on to making home made pasta dough and fillings. Sometime before we started the fillings, Francesca heard that we loved lemon, and did a quick change up of the planned recipe so that we could have a lemon-filled ravioli instead of spinach. She had us include one of her home-made spice mixes and some pink pepper, which turned out to be absolutely delicious. When it was time for dessert, I honestly I didn’t expect to like the Tiramasu. I’ve had a few before that I thought were dry. But the one we made with Francesca’s help was one I’d be happy with if I’d ordered it in a nice restaurant. It was perfect. We left with plans to try to replicate it at home for some friends. If you’re in Florence and looking to cook a delicious Italian meal, you should absolutely book with Francesca!
- Francesca was amazing! She was so welcoming and we learned exactly what the cooking class was going to teach us. We had a great time and laughed and enjoyed the meal! One of our favorite events we did while in Florence. Francesca's home was very clean and we felt like we were at home :)
- Francesca was just wonderful. Our trip to the market was so much fun. She knew so many vendors who were so helpful. Explained different foods to us. She was very patient during our cooking process. Her home was lovely and we could not have been happier with the experience.
- Francesca opened her home and showed us what Italians are all about , food and love! It was an amazing experience and we can’t wait to come back to Florence and learn more recipes !
