    Tagliolini tart has been my family's favorite dish for more than three generations: a fragrant dish consisting of a sheet of homemade noodles with a rich filling of bechamel, mozzarella and prosciutto cotto in the center, over which a fragrant and delicious meat sauce is poured and small chops are placed side by side. The tomato or stuffed focaccia immediately makes a party and is the centerpiece of every family gathering in Puglia. And the baba? Definitely the dessert of the holidays garnished with fresh fruit and cream for a meal that is sure to be a joy for the whole family.

    Wir hatten sooo ein tolles Erlebnis mit Giovannella! Es hätte nicht schöner sein können. Giovannella ist so eine herzliche Person und auch die Kommunikation war perfekt. Ganz grosse Empfehlung! Auf dem Markt haben wir viel Neues gelernt und jede Menge probiert. Was für ein Spass! Danach haben wir in ihrer schönen Masseria die Nudeln selbst gemacht und mit einer wunderbaren Sauce gegessen. Dazu gab es jede Menge Appetizer und den perfekten Nachtisch. Wir wurden sehr verwöhnt und werden diesen Tag nie vergessen. Vielen lieben Dank Giovannella! 🫶

    Giovannella è stata davvero accogliente e ha reso questo corso davvero speciale. Si vedeva che ama trasmettere la tradizione culinaria agli altri. Anche la posizione è fantastica e, nonostante non sia facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi pubblici, Giovannella è stata incredibilmente disponibile e mi ha persino accompagnato alla stazione!

    The cooking class was awesome. Giovanella made us feel at home, like we were her daughter and son. She was very candid and explained in detail about the recipes. It was a very different and nice experience to do this cooking, knowing how to make regional local authentic pasta. Truly a remarkable experience. Thanks to Giovanella and Susan for everything, you were both wonderful.

    It was very nice to do the private pizza and tiramisu class. Giovannella spoke very well English and she didn’t only show me how but also let me do all steps to prepare the food. She worked very clean also and gave me a lot of information. I recommend to take notes. She also helped me with links where to buy ingredients in the Netherlands. Thank you so much Giovannella!

    My cooking is the result of a family passion passed down from my mother, my grandmother, and shaped by the experiences and places that have been part of my life. I love cooking with seasonal, local products, and whenever possible, ingredients from my own garden. I enjoy growing and using aromatic herbs, transforming fruit into unique and healthy jams, as well as creating traditional liqueurs. My cuisine is typical of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, as a Neapolitan transplanted to Puglia, with Sicilian and Campanian grandmothers and a Pugliese mother-in-law. I love French cuisine and exploring “fusion” experiences that blend Southern Italian and international flavors.
