In the beautiful setting of Casa della Gioia, a mid-nineteenth-century historic mansion, looking at the lake and to the mountains, we look forward to prepare and enjoy together authentic and seasonal recipes with local products, such as vegetables from the garden, fish from the lake, cheese from our valleys and game from our mountains. Of course, pairing with local wines cannot be missed. The menu is adaptable to guests' tastes and desires. The beauty of the place will be an unforgettable ingredient....

Casa della Gioia is a villa, still used by the family, which began operating as a holiday home in 2019, realizing the vision of Emanuele, one of the owners, and Maria, a longtime friend. It is a noble villa from the mid-19th century with two hectares of parkland maintained as a garden. Our main goal is to make guests feel at home, giving them the opportunity to spend a few hours or days in a fairytale setting where every gesture is a pampering touch. There are 12 beds in single or double rooms for guests, who often participate in holistic events and, in the case of companies or universities, international conferences. Some come to spend a few relaxing days with family, while others organize their events with us, whether it’s a birthday, baptism, or wedding. Given the spaciousness and beauty of the grounds, we can accommodate up to 35 people indoors and 70 in the garden or gazebo, which can be heated and illuminated and where music can also be played. We have an excellent chef, David, who gathers fresh produce from his garden for us and brings wines from his vineyards or local wineries. We often organize themed culinary events for friends. We prepare local dishes, including vegetarian options or game, beautiful barbecues, or pizzas in the wood-fired oven, and we specialize in stunning aperitifs under the wisteria at sunset, where the only task for guests is to lose themselves in the reflections of the lake.
