We had a truly wonderful experience with Gigliola. From the first moment, we felt welcomed like at home, in an authentic, warm and familiar atmosphere. The cooking class was much more than a simple cooking lesson: it was a real moment of sharing and discovering the Piedmontese tradition. Making ravioli together was special, and Gigliola managed to convey all the passion and love for family cooking. Everything happened calmly, without rushing, just like in a real Piedmontese home. Excellent dinner and delightful company. One of the most authentic experiences of our weekend between Monferrato and Langhe. Highly recommended for those seeking something true, genuine and away from overly touristy experiences.

We loved our cooking class with Gigliola! She welcomed us into her beautiful home with such warmth, and the food was fantastic—fresh, regional, and full of flavor. It felt like spending an evening with friends while learning real Piedmontese recipes. A quick tip for future travelers: the house is outside central Asti, which adds to the charm, but you should plan transportation in advance. Our driver had trouble finding it in the dark, though Gigliola’s assistant kindly helped call a taxi for our return. Overall, an inviting, delicious, and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

I love making fresh homemade pasta, especially stuffed pasta, tagliolini, and gnocchi, following family recipes and enhancing genuine ingredients. Main courses hold a special place in my kitchen: I enjoy cooking braised meats and roasts, dishes that require patience and care but reward with deep, rich flavors. I also like experimenting with wild herbs, precious ingredients from our land, perfect for enriching frittatas and simple yet flavorful dishes. Desserts are never missing from my table, whether traditional baked sweets, perfect for pairing with coffee or an afternoon snack, or creamy spoon desserts, ideal for ending a meal on a sweet note. I love organizing outdoor apericenas, creating a warm and convivial atmosphere with delicious small bites, good wine, and the magic of an evening in good company.
